About the journal
The scientific and practical yearbook is devoted to topical issues of foreign and Russian history, historical and cultural parallels between the West and the East. The purpose of the publication is the dissemination of scientific knowledge, information support of the achievements of scientists in the humanities, the enhancement of the authority and influence of the Russian scientific information and scientific publishing segment in the world community. Each issue of the scientific publication has a thematic character. The journal contains the following headings: "Articles and reports", "Gender studies in the humanities", "Publication of documents and materials", "Scientific chronicle. Bibliography", "Portrait of a historian", "Debut of science". Since 2012, the yearbook is published jointly with the Russian Society of Intellectual History. The international composition of the editorial board is represented by scholars from academic and university communities in Austria, Italy, Slovakia, Belarus and Russia. A significant volume of publications belongs to the authors - members of the international commission of the National committees of historians of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Sciences.
- This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
